Introduce about Pokémon Sapphire Version
As you know, Pokémon has another way to call it Pocket Monsters, copyrighted by The Pokémon Company. Still, three companies started the Pokémon universe, including Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures. The Pokémon Universe is where people can become adventurers who can capture and train Pokémon to battle others based on a sporting spirit.
Pokémon has become quite popular in both video games and anime. Not only that but in 2019, it was made into a movie based on a game called Detective Pikachu. Today we will find out one of the best Pokémon games in the series.
The story
Pokémon Sapphire Version is about a small town called Littleroot Town, where you will play as a child who has just moved to this town. At the start of the game, you will be given a choice of three Pokémon: Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip to protect Professor Birch from an attack by Poochyena. Then, you start your journey with that Pokémon and go on a quest. In addition to the main missions from the NPCs, you must defeat 8 Gym Leader to go to war with the Elite Four. Your final opponent is the champion, Steven.
However, the main storyline revolves around teams Aqua and Magma. Basically, Pokémon Sapphire Version and Ruby are identical. They are all villains that want to use legendary Pokémon to change the climate of the Hoenn region. And in the Sapphire version, you will have to confront Team Aqua to prevent them from using Kyogre to submerge Hoenn land and strengthen the ocean before facing the 8th Gym Leader. At the end, you fight the Elite Four and Steven Stone.
Gameplay
Pokémon currently on the video game field has developed into a lot of gameplay such as TCG card games, fighting, adventure games, puzzles, and turn-based combat. About Pokémon Sapphire Version, this game belongs to the genre of adventure, puzzle, and turn-based combat. Specifically, you control the male or female character and start your adventure.
During your adventure, you can catch and train multiple Pokémon but are only allowed to carry up to 6 Pokémon. Each Pokémon has up to 4 skills and can be replaced when it comes to a new skill learning level. You can engage other Trainers or wild Pokémon to level up your Pokémon. And in a turn-based battle, you and your opponent both choose the skill in that turn, whoever has the higher speed will attack first until the health of either side drops to zero. Then you can use support items to heal, removing adverse effects.
This game also comes with puzzles. Each Pokémon game has its own hidden places and requires you to solve puzzles, then get rewards. Some quests require you to solve puzzles in order to proceed to the next quest. Some places require Pokémon to use skills they learned from the HM disc to go through, or solve puzzles to go to the arena and catch legendary Pokémon.
Pokédex
Pokémon Sapphire Version owns up to 202 Pokémon, but up to 386 if you trade with either Pokémon Fire Red or Leaf Green versions. If you ask why I would like to answer that some Pokémon do not appear in the Sapphire version, this version focuses on Pokémon Gen 3, but that does not mean you cannot own Gen 1, Gen 2 Pokemon. For some evolved Pokémon, you have to trade with other players.
Graphics
In terms of graphics, Pokémon Sapphire Version (like the Fire Red and Leaf Green versions) still has quite simple graphics to prevent children from getting dizzy in combat. The game retains the same perspective from above.
About the sound, the game only includes sounds of the battle, not voices for the characters.
