Yup. It seems that all those using this MOD and similar have been banned. You can’t participate in any tournaments, not even in the champions league and can’t chat with team members although chat is enabled. Basically it’s now pointless to have this game

Yes, my wife and I are having the same issue for few days now. The score does not go up even though I’ve been playing and completing the stages in the Champions league. Also not the score/star doesn’t accumulate in the Star tournament, it’s like you stuck in the same position all the time.
